Jim has been involved most of his life in communications and marketing positions. After serving in those capacities in the US Army and attending the University of South Carolina's School of Journalism, he went on to work as Manager of Communications at Apple Computer's corporate headquarters in Cupertino, CA, and later as VP of the Telecast Division with the Wood Preserving Division of Osmose, Inc. near Atlanta, GA.

Nadine is a native of the Tidewater area of Virginia. She attended the Christopher Newport College of William and Mary in Newport News, VA, and has had administrative involvement in the printing, medical and educational sectors.

Jim and Nadine purchased this 40-year-old existing printing business in 1995, and started making improvements in services, technologies and staff. Their goal has always been to provide the normal range of products usually found in a typical printing company, while also offering services that are most often associated with larger communications and marketing agencies. As a result, they have grown Mitchell Printing & Graphics Inc. into a very successful full-service business serving clients in numerous parts of the United States.

Jim and Nadine have an adult son and daughter, and live in the immediate community they serve, surrounded by many of their extended family. Jim's other activities and interests include camping, photography, flying, and serving on a number of community, church and civic organizations. Nadine loves gardening and plants, crafts, camping and also serves on several community, church and civic organizations.
